Custom Hook with a 360 loop
Challenge:
A customer needed a custom hook with a 2.5” loop for an assembly process, providing only photos and a rough sketch.
Solution:
Our team analyzed the images and drawing, crafting an exact prototype within one day.

The prototype fit perfectly, leading to an order of 500 hooks. This project highlighted our ability to deliver precise custom solutions quickly, even with minimal design details.
Needing a Wider S Hook
Challenge:
An Alberta-based custom powder coating shop needed a unique hook configuration to stabilize parts by wedging one end of our 3mm, 6” S hooks between two points before hanging from the other end. Our standard hook arc was too narrow for this specialized application.
Solution:
After discussing their requirements through calls, images, and measurements, we identified that a 5mm increase in the arc would make the hook fit perfectly. We quickly designed and produced a customized prototype, shipping it to the customer for review the same day.
Results:
The prototypes were a perfect fit. The customer placed an order for 5,000 hooks, which we produced, packed, and shipped within 48 hours. The fast turnaround allowed the customer to maintain production schedules and meet their project deadlines seamlessly.
High-Temperature Masking Solution for Automotive Parts Plant
Challenge:
A large automotive parts plant needed a reliable masking solution for a high-volume exterior part painted with multiple coats (base, pearl, and clear). The masking tape had to withstand oven curing at 105°C for 45 minutes, adhere to complex curves, and allow for easy, residue-free removal in one piece. Standard crepe tape tore under the paint thickness, leaving pieces behind.
Solution:
After consulting with the customer and trialing over ten options, we identified our Yellow PVC Fine Line Tape as the ideal solution. Its high-temperature resistance, flexibility, and clean removal capabilities met the unique demands of the part’s curved surfaces.
